Josephine started hairdressing in Perth, Western Australia in 1993 where she worked up to management for seven years. Later moving to Sydney as Senior Stylist/Manager for salon 'Imagine' in fashion central, Chatswood Chase. After a whirlwind new years in Melbourne, she fell in love with the city and moved there soon after. Josephine began studying Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment at the reputable international private hair school Pivot Point Academy, whom later employed her as Tutor and Assessor. It wasn't long before she was promoted to Salon Education Co Ordinator, which allowed her to focus on sharing her love of art of hair with like minded people. Eventually the call of Europe was too strong, moving to London, she continued to teach and assess hairdressing at the school of Londons' famous “Father of modern hairdressing training”, Joshua Galvin Academy. There, Josephine trained and assessed apprentices for salons such as Harrods' Urban Retreat and award winning celebrity hairdresser, Richard Ward. After eight years of living in busy cities, Josephine moved back Australia, settling beachside in the beautiful south-west of Western Australia in the popular Margaret River region. Having been introduced to salon professional organic ammonia-free hair colouring, Josephine evolved to accommodate a cleaner, healthier way of hairdressing as well a finding time also create and teach a commercial hairdressing course for South West Institue of Technolgy. Although her passion for creating beautiful hair using Organic Colours is still strong Josephine was inspired by the growing popularity of weddings in the tourist region, she also began specialising in Bridal Party Hairstyling. Being freelance gives Josephine to freedom to accommodate any Bride and her party in their own comfortable surrounding thus providing a relaxing start to the day.
