Josephine began her hairdressing apprenticeship in Perth, Western Australia in 1993 where she worked up to management for seven years. A move to Sydney as Senior Stylist/Manager, Josephine worked for salon 'Imagine' in fashion central Chatswood Chase. After a visit to Melbourne in 2002, she fell in love with the city and moved there soon after. It was there Josephine began studying Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment at the reputable international private hair school Pivot Point Academy, whom later employed her as Tutor and Assessor of Hairdressing. Not long after, a promotion to Salon Education Coordinator allowed her to focus on sharing her love of the art of hair with like-minded people.

Eventually the call of Europe was too strong, moving to London she continued to teach and assess hairdressing at the school of London’s’ famous “Father of modern hairdressing training”, Joshua Galvin Academy. There, Josephine taught and assessed apprentices for reputable salons such as Harrods' Urban Retreat and celebrity hairdresser, Richard Ward.

After eight years of living in busy cities, Josephine settled in the beautiful picturesque Busselton, south-west of Western Australia. Working from her quaint, chic beach-side home hair studio, Josephine works only with Ammonia-free, Organic hair colours. So clients can now relax to funky tunes and a 'real coffee' with no nasty fumes.

Although her passion for organic hair colouring is strong, Josephine was inspired by the growing popularity of weddings in the south-west and began building a reputation as a popular Busselton bridal hairstylist. Being freelance gives Josephine the freedom to accommodate any bride and her party in their own comfortable surroundings or if preferred, at the hair studio.
